I realize there is a size difference between the v23 generic nokaid bin and v24 generic nokaid bin (about 300 KB) Posted: Tue 15:42 Post subject: WRT54G v2 dd-wrt v24 nokaid JFFS file system issue There is no need of nokaid-version if /jffs fs is not usable any more. Switched to /tmp filesystem and Scripts are build every time on startup(-script). Found out that size of dd-wrt images increased about 100KB -> /jffs size lowered around these 100KB. Unable to use jffs because filesystem is now to small after upgrade. The device does have 16 MB RAM and 4 MB Flash. It would seem there should be more space available and be able to write to the directory. So if I'm going to store anything (I usually put the nocat files in /jffs/nocat) I need to upload them in the mini version, flash to nonkaid version and not clean the jffs file system. If I then flash to v24 generic nokaid the jffs size shrinks and becomes unwritable again. Just for kicks I follow the procedure for enabling the jffs from the wiki If I reflash to the mini version I am able to get more space from the jffs and write to the available file system. I followed the instructions in the wiki for enabling the jffs file system (both web gui and command line) and get the same results I have a Linksys WRT54G v2 that I just flashed to v24 generic nokaid and now the jffs space is smaller and unwritable.
